The Man Behind The Lens
It is my honor and pleasure to share some of my photography with you. I picked up a film SLR camera in my teens, and bought my own a few years later when I lived in Japan. I am a self-taught and reside in north Texas. However, you will notice many of my photos are from other parts of this state, country, and world.
My aim is to see and capture the extraordinary in the ordinary. Art and wonder is all around us. I have to admit many of my photos are the result of serendipitous moments when light and subject, meet my eye and camera. Please feel free to browse.
Each photo has a story behind it. I love it when people want to know their backstories. One particular photo of interest is my Chair on the Beach because it has become something of a Rorschach Test…”what does it say to you?” The responses are intriguing. So, please feel free to ask questions about my work, I’ll tell you a tail.
Even though I’m based in the DFW Metroplex, for the right projects, I will travel. Let’s go have an adventure and capture some magic!
